Synopsis on NetFlix

Flight 828 arrives in New York with passengers who are unaware they’ve been missing for years as a mysterious phenomenon influences their behaviour.

OVERALL SUMMARY - SPOILER

The 4 seasons weave through the lives of each of the passengers who were on the ill-fated flight, going through flashbacks and visions (called ‘Callings’), which indicate to them in advance if someone is in danger or something is going to happen. They are all inevitably drawn together by some unseen force. Going about their daily lives gets difficult. The family at the forefront of this drama is Ben, Michaela and Cal. Cal and his sibling, twin Olive, have grown apart because one of them was not on the flight and has advanced in age by five and a half years.

TICKLED MY FANCY (HIGHLIGHTS)

There are twists which will keep you watching. The suspense elements will also want to make you continue. If you are into the Sci-Fi stuff, you will fancy parts of the series. The actors also did a good job.

A WORD OF CAUTION (LOWLIGHTS)

With 4 seasons to complete, I felt it was too long. I did get bored at times.

I am not a Sci-Fi fan, so some scenes seemed unreal and forced. Finally, the ending was a big disappointment. Much like the series ‘Lost’ when you watch all the season and you are so invested in what’s going to happen, and then they come up with something so stupid - Well, this was like that, but worse. The end was a sheer disappointment for me. My advice -  Go along for the ride, but don’t expect too much at the end.

My overall rating is a 6 out of 10.
